Returns & Refunds
Hatching eggs, farm-fresh eating eggs, mealworms, superworms, and live poultry cannot be returned. Shipped poultry may qualify for a refund or replacement under our Live Delivery Guarantee below.
Nonliving products, including feeders, waterers, nest boxes, and nest liners, may be returned for a refund of the item’s purchase price. Items must be received undamaged and inspected before a refund is issued.
Original shipping charges are nonrefundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except when an item arrives damaged.
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 12 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs. AAA Chickens and More will cover shipping for an approved replacement.
Approved refunds are processed within 24–72 hours after returned items are received and inspected. Your payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.
Live Delivery Guarantee
We guarantee live delivery of the number of poultry you purchased. We may include extra chicks at no additional charge; however, these extras are not guaranteed.
If the number of live birds received is fewer than the number purchased, contact us within 12 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the deceased birds.
For example, if you purchase 10 chicks and receive 12, with 10 arriving alive, your paid order has been fulfilled. If only nine arrive alive, one purchased chick qualifies for consideration under this guarantee.
We will provide a refund or replacement for covered losses, depending on the number affected. Complimentary extra chicks are not eligible for refunds or replacements.
This guarantee covers losses reported and documented within the first 12 hours after delivery. It does not provide an ongoing health guarantee. We do not assume responsibility for the continuing health of poultry after this period or for the health of people or other animals that come into contact with our birds.
Farm Pickup
We will notify you when your order is ready for pickup. Please wait for confirmation before coming to collect your order.
Order Cancellations
Customer cancellation requests must be received at least seven days before the scheduled hatch date.
A cancellation fee of 25% of the order total or $15, whichever is greater, will be deducted from the refund. This fee applies to all approved customer-requested cancellations.
AAA Chickens and More reserves the right to cancel an order. If we cancel your order, you will receive a refund without a cancellation fee.
Order Reductions
Requests to reduce an order must be received at least seven days before the scheduled hatch date.
A fee equal to 25% of the purchase price of the birds removed will be deducted from the refund for those birds.
Minimum Orders
- Shipped poultry: A minimum of 10 birds, which may be mixed and matched.
- Farm pickup: A minimum of three birds, which may be mixed and matched.
Shipping Dates & Delays
We hatch and ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Wednesdays, with most orders planned for Tuesday shipment.
If hatch availability changes and we cannot fill your order as scheduled, we will contact you by email and/or phone.
Most shipments arrive within two days of shipping, but actual delivery dates are not guaranteed. If your order has not arrived by the Saturday following its scheduled shipping date and you have not received an update, please contact us.
Tracking updates may be limited while live poultry is in transit. For transit updates or delivery concerns, contact USPS. If birds arrive deceased, contact AAA Chickens and More within the 12-hour reporting window described above.
Female Chick Guarantee
Our 90% female guarantee applies only to orders of at least 10 chicks purchased specifically as females. Straight run, unsexed chicks, and AAA Chick Mix Hatch orders are excluded.
For orders of fewer than 10 chicks requested as females, we will do our best to select females, but no sex guarantee applies.
A 90% guarantee does not mean every chick will be female.
